Hi Michael,

Welcome back Kotter! Yeah, packet has declined since I started in 1995-6
or so but we're still here or some of us anyway and there are a few noobs
believe it or not. Oh stop moaning about the internet (;->) and be happy
you missed Packet Wars, blame it on APRS if you will. It's taken some
huge strides while you were gone and many have migrated but just as many
seem to overlook that little fact and would rather blame land line than
radio. Oh you know how it is.

While looking up your call I noticed you're over in Jackson, I'm your
neighbor in Point Pleasant Beach and before I moved and am at least for
the time being without an antenna NJ2AR was my home BBS, I was a member
of JSARS too. I dropped out only because I can't attend meetings or
events, they're a great bunch and I miss yakking it up on the repeaters.

It's good to have you back keeping the BBS warm, It's cold up in the loft
in Lakehurst but there's a great view from the roof of the hangar 200'
up. Oh, if the BBS goes down just tell somebody to go over there and plug
it back in, they'll know what you mean. (;->)

73 from the magical land of Oz my temporary home but you know what? I
like it so much here in Kempsey NSW I just may stick around a while.
