Hi All
EcomScs Version 0.1.8 is a major release.
In the past versions of EcomScs, EcomScs could only use FBB BBS to send and receive its E-Mails.
With version 0.1.8 this is no longer the case. Version 0.1.8 can use any full service BBS to send and
receive its E-Mails.
Note this new version does not effect EcomScs using WinLink nodes or GateWayScs stations to
send and receive its E-Mails. The commands to use WinLink Nodes and GateWayScs stations are built
into EcomScs.
What follows is the Whats new for version 0.1.8

Version 0.1.8 11/30/2008
Major release of EcomScs.
EcomScs can now use any full service BBS to transport its E-Mails.
This is accomplished by the user either creating his or her own BBS Command file
or by down loading and installing one of the BBS command files that will be available on
http://www.qsl.net/kb2scs web site. As of now there is a FBB.zip file on the web site.
Hope to have more in the future.

Very important. If this is a first install of EcomScs then start up EcomScs.
Fill in all the setup information on the setup form. Then close EcomScs. By doing this
EcomScs has now created the C:\EcomScs\bbs directory.
If not a new install of EcomScs then simply start up version 0.1.8 and then close EcomScs
This as in the first install has created the C:\EcomScs\bbs directory
Again start up EcomScs. Then click on the BBS Setup Menu Item.
On the Define Edit BBS Form that is displayed please click on the help button.

With the ability to use any full Service BBS to send and receive its E-Mails is a major advance
of the EcomScs software.
Thank you for your time in reading this E-Mail.

Let us hope we never witness the "Silence Of The Hams"
