The PCL Net is taking tonight, May 27, 2024,
OFF, for the Memorial Day holiday. The net
will resume next Monday, June 4, 2024.
Speaking of Memorial Day, it's not a time for
"burgers, brats, and beer". In covering the 3
holidays:
1) Armed Forces Day honors those currently
serving.
2) Veteran Day honors those who have served.
3) Memorial Day honors the memory of those who
paid the ultimate price with their lives, for
the freedoms we enjoy...the Gold Star Veterans.
To all those who have served, or who are serving,
THANK YOU for your service to your country's armed
forces/military.
So, please take the time to remember what the day
is about. As The Lord Jesus Christ noted in the
Bible, in John 15:13 "Greater love has no man than
this, that a man lay down his life for his friends".
