Hi Dan,
I have been active since the 80's Packet it a mode just like CW
it won't die but barely survive if there is no follower.

I started in Canada as VE3JLT when a Digital Licences was required
Then move to Germany, due to a military transfer and became DA2LO.

After got transfer to Pensacola, where I was stationary for 18 Months,
from there move to Newfoundland where I became VO1VL, then to
New-Brunswick, VA1AKH, then switch to VE9PT, after move to Quebec,
where I got the call VE2PKT and VA2OM.

VE2PKT is my stationary base, located in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec
Canada, and VA2OM is mostly py portable/experimental station.

I am active in 2M for now and some HF.
but I can't live with out it. Maybe we will have a live chat,.

73 de Jean
VA2OM / VE2PKT
