Hi All
Version 017 of EcomScs is available at
http://www.qsl.net/kb2scs

Version 0.1.7 11/04/2008
Lynn KB3FN found a bug in EcomScs.
Thank you Lynn for bringing the following bug to my attention.
If the user started EcomScs with the TNC off or the cable disconnected
then EcomScs would start but not display on the screen. EcomScs would own
the serial port. The user would have no idea that EcomScs is running. If the user
went to start up another packet program Windows would inform the user that
the serial port was not available. The only way out of this problem was to start
Task Manager and then kill EcomScs.
This bug has been fixed. Now if the user starts up EcomScs with the TNC off
or the TNC cable disconnected EcomScs detects this and ends gracefully with an
error message.

Let us hope we never witness the "Silence Of The Hams"
