WX4QZ:
Daryl Stout, WX4QZ, Little Rock, Arkansas
After an ice storm last week, 2 back to back
snow storms this week, with record cold. Got
nearly a foot this morning, and the same is
expected Wednesday through Thursday. At least
I still have power, but they're cautioning for
rolling blackouts. Got a bunch of groceries
from Wal-Mart yesterday. Good time for the
Chevy Cruze to be in the shop for servicing.
The BlueDV program with the ThumbDV failed big
time this morning. I can't find/get the WinDV
program, and may not be able to use the Droid
Star Android app. The cell networks are the first
to fail in bad weather. So, all my D-Star Nets
are suspended until further notice, unless someone
else steps up as Net Control.
Stay safe, healthy, weather aware, and radioactive.

KF5JRV:
It is miserable cold.
We have about 6 - 8 inches of snow. Looks like more Wednesday
and not much warmer.
Stayed home from work today for the first time in years.
Jackie has the bathroom full of plants and growlights.
Hopefully we will avoid the rolling blackouts.

KF5TVG:
Got a call before 7pm that our Branson condo is one of
several that are being flooded right now from sprinkler
pipes due to extreme cold.
Will get a call in a bit from restoration folks. This is
a real pain to deal with long distance.
We've had 6 inches of snow here in Broken Arrow and another
6 or so coming in the next two days. Record low temps.
Was -2 air and feels like -20 this morning.
Hope everyone is staying warm. Sorry for being late tonight.

NS2B:
Daryl, I feel you guys and that much snow. I know that'll
shut you guys down for a bit.
The forecasters are saying we could get a foot here
tonight. It's a lot different here. I've already had
a salt truck go by my house - and he'll be around
every half hour with the blade down every half hour
until the snow fall ends.
Hope you figure out your BlueDV - I know how frustrating
that stuff can be when it decides to take a powder.
Scott, snow doesn't help Jackie's garden none!
I heard about those blackouts - but those were in Texas -
you're having them too? Oh, joy...
Bob, Wow, that's crazy weather for sure. Well, I hope you
can stay in and stay warm. My dad would always say; "God
put it there, He can take it away" - but this might take
a while...
Sorry to hear about your condo - that truly sucks. I hate
dealing with unexpected catastrophes.
