Hello all the net. Many thanks for reading this mail in advance.

I have at Dad's house a Packard Bell 1300 laptop with a Spanish version
of Windows XP (possibly SE but not sure). It is apparent hat it has an embedded
version of it an invissible place inside the HD.). I have reinstalled completely
te OS from it as it was brough used some years ago and I wanted to get rid with
the old user stuff.

The local telco has given us a wireless network hub also capapable to
hook a small local net (The hub has 4 lan terminals). As this machine never has
been connected to internet, surely it will need to load all patches and adds on
from the i'net. I use it only for reading some pdf's (Mainly books), doc's' and
MP4's carried to it in the usbpen (Pendrive).

I am definitively not skiled in windows machines, and much less in
networking with it.

Can anyone give me a step by step guidance (Suitable for stupids like
me) to try to make those connections possible?

        Any help will be appreciated.

        Osvaldo LW1DSE.
