It is with deep regret that we report that Air Marshal Sir Eric Dunn KBE
CB BEM CEng RAF, Patron of the Royal Air Force Amateur Radio Society went
Silent Key on 16th July 2008 at the age of 80.

CORRECTION TO TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS SENT WITH QRV
The Stratton House Hotel, SG18 8ED is on the left at the top end of the
High Street before the name changes to London Road.
Drivers - the hotel car park is behind the hotel in Chestnut Avenue. There
is also a 3 hr free car park next door.

Report for 12 Jul 08. 42 contacts made which included GB7HQ a bronze
RSGB Certificate for GB2RAF. RAFARS members worked were G4PFR G0SDZ G4YEP
G3VAO G0RTJ M0EJL G0JLX M0MRW M0TOW.
NOTE GB2RAF will not be operational on the 11 Oct but on the 18 Oct 08
instead for a Special WW2 over 60s meeting at the Museum.
GB2RAF should be QRV every 2nd Saturday of the Month 1000-1500hrs local on
RAFARS frequencies SSB or CW on 80m, or 40m if conditions are poor.
