Il "Gruppo Scatter Microonde Monte del Giogo", operando in piena
autonomia progettuale e finanziaria, con la collaborazione tecnica
determinante di IZ3CLG e di IW5CBL, GIOVEDI 17 LUGLIO ha attivato il
Ripetitore D-STAR IQ4GS B e G (nominativo provvisorio), che ha iniziato
ad inoltrare i suoi pacchetti sia nell'etere ( 431.525 + 1.600 KHz) sia
nell'universo Tcp-ip.
Posizionato sullo spartiacque dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano, affacciato
sul mare, oltre a divenire il Nodo fondamentale per la distribuzione dei
segnali nella futura dorsale nord-sud, dedicata alle Radiocomunicazioni
Alternative di Emergenza, potra' assolvere anche alle funzioni di
Ripetitore per comunicazioni locali all'interno della copertura mondiale
della rete D-Star, sia nell'area del comprensorio della Pianura Padana
centrale che nella Lunigiana, nella fascia orientale della Liguria e non
e' escluso che si possano avere gradite sorprese per segnali provenienti
dalla Liguria di Ponente e dal litorale Toscano.
Fondamentali per lo sviluppo di questo progetto, sono stati i numerosi
collegamenti di prova effettuati in modo digitale sia in banda 400 che
in banda 1200 MHZ tra la Stazione di Monte del Giogo e la Stazione di
Monte Maggiore - La Tolfa - Civitavecchia-Roma, utilizzando i
Paraboloidi di 20 metri posizionati nei due siti e i test ATV e fonia (
FM e DV ) verso la zona 3.
Questa installazione avra' inizialmente soprattutto la funzione di
testare l'affidabilita’ del sistema, posto in ambiente di alta montagna
( 1500 mt ) ed in una zona caratterizzata da perturbazioni sia
temporalesche che nevose di notevole intensita'.
Prossimamente al modulo in banda 400 Mhz, seguira' il modulo in banda
1200 Mhz, che consentira' la Trasmissione Dati a 128 Kbps .
Attualmente e' stato testato con successo, l'invio di short message e di
testi molto piu' ampi utilizzando il simpatico DSTAR TERM con il
Ripetitore sia in modo B che in modo G.
Si invitando gli OM a testare direttamente la copertura di questo
impianto D-Star.
The "Gruppo Scatter Microonde Monte del Giogo" group , operating in full
autonomy both as financial as in planning , with the fundamental
technical help coming from IZ3CLG and IW5CBL, Thursday 17th of July put
into action the D-STAR IQ4GS B and G Repeater (temporary call ), that
began to send his packets both into the air waves ( 431.525 + 1.600 MHz)
as also in the Tcp-ip universe.
Located on the divide of the Tuscany-Emilan Apennines, looking on the
sea, beside beginning to become the fundamental Node for the
distribution of signals into the future north-south peninsular backbone,
with the main inten pointing to the Alternative Emergency Radio
Communications, will also be able to complete the functions of a
Repeater for "local" traffic, being linked to the world wide D-Star net,
both in the region of central Pianura Padana as in the Lunigiana area,
as over the eastern part of Liguria so we cannot exclude to have some
welcomed surprise with signals coming from western Liguria as from
Tuscany shoreline stations.
Fundamental have been , for the growth of this project, the numerous
radio communication tests we did in digital mode both on 400 as on 1200
MHz bands between the Monte del Giogo and Monte Maggiore - La Tolfa -
Civitavecchia-Roma Stations , using the 20 meters Parabolas located in
the two areas and the ATV and phone ( FM and DV ) attempts toward the 3
Zone (Veneto).
The former installation will have the main goal to test the reliability
of a system located in a high mountain environment ( 1500 meters a.s.l.
) and in a typical land of high intensity rain and snow storms .
In short time beside the 400 MHz we will add the 1200 MHz module , that
will allow to utilize 128 Kbps Data Transmissions .
For the time being we have been able to test the short messages sending
as also the transmissions of much longer texts using the nice DSTAR TERM
with the repeater both in B as in G mode.
We invite all the OM's to directly test the covering range of this
D-Star system.
